I grew up in a Christian home in Tennessee. I was saved at the age of seven. I moved to
Indiana where I met my high school sweetheart, Elaine. We have been married 42
wonderful years. We have 3 wonderful children and nine grandchildren.
I received my B.A. from the Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. I then spent the next 2
years serving my country in the United States Army. While in the Army, I gave God complete
control of my life and received the call to preach the gospel.
I graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from the Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. I have pastored churches for over 40 years in Texas, Kansas,
Kentucky, and Missouri.
I travel annually to Spanish speaking countries. While on these mission trips I preach the
gospel in Spanish. I am also involved in writing a book to help young pastors.

I have been the Youth Pastor at Faith Fellowship Church since 2007. I have been blessed
with a wife that is out of my league. Heather and I have been married since August of 1996.
We have three children; Kaitlynn, Quinn, and Lillie. I attended school at Midwestern Bible
College and was a Youth Minister for four years.
Youth Ministry is not all about fun games, lock-ins and fun trips. We do those things, except
the lock-ins, I'm to old for those. We believe that Youth Ministry should be about teaching
young people who Jesus is, what He has really done for us, and how to model our lives after
Him. Teaching them that being a Christian does not mean we can't have fun, but instead you
can be happier and more fulfilled than the rest of the world.
I'm very excited about the big things our big God is doing in our little section of the world. I
would love to see you try either our Jr High or Sr High Youth Group. I would love to see you
come and worship with us at Faith Fellowship Church on Sunday mornings. Most of all I
would love to see you come to a knowledge of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. We
have a God bigger that any of us can possibly imagine, yet that giant God personally loves
